We were lucky enough to spend a great weekend in Breckenridge with the Corn's visiting from Manhattan. A mountain hike, bike ride from Breck to Frisco and a couple hours horsing around in the park along main street and it was time to head home. Good time had by all especially for the little girls. The house were we stayed had a skee ball game and they really enjoyed themselves

Golf Girl
I returned from work yesterday and my girls were waiting for me. Right away Ellary said she wanted to go to the golf course after dinner...to whack some golf balls. We talked for weeks about going and each time she was more interested in riding bikes. For whatever reason this was the day she HAD to go to the course. No complaint from me so she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and we were off.

Coors Field is magical to a four year old
Sunday July 5th, 2009 will always mark Ellary's first visit to a Major League ballpark. Along for the ride were dad, Papa and Uncle Mike. For many days prior Ellary told everyone who asked that she was going to eat a hot dog, dip n dots ice cream, cotton candy and that she wanted to catch a baseball. All came true but the latter and we all enjoyed the wonderful afternoon. The only way it could have been better is if the Rockies could have scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Here are a few pics taken by the cutest Rockies fan in the ballpark (except the one of the two of us).

4th of July Weekend - On top of Mt. Evans
We (Grandma Susie & Papa, Uncle Mike & Auntie Kay and of course Ellary, Lori and Scott) took a drive up to Mt. Evans on Friday. We passed many bikers testing their mettle on our way up to 14,258 feet above sea level to see what there is to see. The views were amazing, including the wildlife. Afterward we drove back down into Evergreen for a picnic lunch.
The Mountain Goats seem quite comfortable at this altitude
