Take me out to the ball game...

Who knew that all it would take is a Colorado Rockies Spring Training game while in Tucson to turn our little slugger into a true baseball fan. She reads her Colorado Rockies book every night and knows the Rockies history better than either of her parents. She also sings a rousing rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" after she knocks one out of the park.

Tucson...

March 20th brought the sixth or seventh installment of Spring Break in Tucson. Ella made her third trip to visit Auntie Kay and Uncle Mike this year and enjoyed the pool even more this year with the new found freedom of her floaties. She even got to go to her first baseball game that featured the Rockies vs. Diamondbacks on the last day of Spring Training. She will tell you that the popcorn and Dip-n-Dots ice cream were the highlights.

While I played golf Lori and Aunt Kay entertained Ella until we boys had our fill of bad golf shots and returned home. We mixed in some day trips to the Sonoran Desert Museum and Sabino Canyon and as always filled our bellies full of the delicious Mexican food. All in all this made for a very relaxing and funfilled trip to the Valley of the Sun.
